"The designated heritage building was formerly the Howard Park Methodist Church, built in 1910, amid Victorian, Edwardian and Tudor residences that were completed in the 1800s and 1900s. In addition to its 384 Sunnyside Ave. address, The Abbey Lofts have other features which make it a unique project. Each loft has a one-of-a-kind floor plan that incorporates original elements. Some of the 24 suites in the historic church conversion are multi-level, some have original stained glass windows, peaked roofs or 24-foot vaulted ceilings, some have two-feet-thick exposed limestone and brick walls, or exposed wood and steel trusses.
