One Columbus Condos - 1 Columbus Avenue

Built in 1902, this five-storey building was once the Rawlings Baseball Glove factory, converted into 10 authentic condo lofts in 1997 by Jackson Goad Architects. Large wood posts, steel beams and walls of honey-coloured brick are reminders of the building's past. The old freight elevator shaft on the west side of the factory was converted into a series of balconies. Many of the units have direct private elevator access.
